In this first post I will explain to you how Langlais Construction is building for you an incredible site full of amazing information. Constructing is building, it is creating something that will last a lifetime. It is with this goal in mind that this website is collecting and providing very useful information just for you. Information is the lifeblood of the internet. Information is what we all are seeking when we turn on our computers and start searching this enormous web. The information comes from all ends of the globe, and is available to anyone and everyone with an internet connection. Just like a house is built of wood, drywall, fiberglass, and put together with nails, plaster and paint, there are critical components of information that should be made available to all who seek. A website is kind of like a house. A house should look beautiful on both the inside and the outside. A house should be safe and built to code. A website should be built upon solid code and look good and be welcoming to visitors. Just like you should feel safe and welcome in someone’s house, you should feel safe and welcome inside someone’s website. A house’s architecture should be user friendly. When you go inside someone’s house, you should be able to find yourself around intuitively. This is the same with a website. Have you ever visited someone’s website and not been able to maneuver yourself around? We don’t want our homes cluttered with unnecessary junk. We don’t want to be tripping and falling over all kinds of stuff everywhere. We want them neat and clean. Same thing goes for a website. It shouldn’t be cluttered, and should look neat and clean. It should be built and maintained upon the same basic premise as your home. A sanctuary where you can invite visitors to and make them also feel at home. Just like your home is protected and decorated with lovely vinyl siding and properly painted window frames, so should your website be protected and decorated. Don’t over-do it. Some sites are so cluttered with pictures and moving objects and bright colors that it hurts my eyes and I immediately click off. You would never cover your house in bright flashing colors would you? Your house should have a library with many well-read and educational books. A good example of that would be a good book about search engine optimization like Lethbridge SEO books. You would never store volume after volume of empty pages in your library would you? Think how embarrassing it would be if a visitor picked up a book out of your library and all that it contained was empty pages, or worse yet pages and pages of jibberish. I’m sure you have seen that happen: you open someone’s website or article and it is just lines and lines of jibberish. It makes no sense at all. That’s what is causing the internet to be in bad need of a renovation, just like an old house that is falling apart needs a good renovation. Your library should be full of many good books, books that are on how to write fantasy or how to build a house or even how to build a website. These are important things to know about, and it is a good idea to keep yourself very educated in all areas of life. You will never know when you will need this knowledge to help yourself or to help someone else.
